COVID 19 Vaccination Game Plan: for Patients

vaccinate-58-logoEdThank you for your interest in COVID19 vaccinations.

Our office is authorized to provide the COVID19 vaccine.

We have ordered vaccine, however we are waiting for our first shipment. Blue Shield is now administering the distribution of COVID vaccinations in California, and the transition has not going smoothly.

Once we have COVID19 vaccines in stock, we will provide information about scheduling a vaccination at our office.

We will be providing the vaccination to our patients in the approved tiers.

Until we have more information, we are focusing on our clinical care responsibilities.

At this time, we are not taking reservations for vaccines. We are unable to offer a waiting list.

Please follow our vaccine availability online at http://www.vaccinefinder.org

When the vaccine(s) is/are available, we will provide the information about the vaccine(s) here and scheduling information on our website https://www.cvpediatrics.com/services/covid19/

The 2 dose Moderna vaccine is approved for 18 years and older.

The 1 dose Johnson and Johnson/Janssen vaccine is approved for 18 years and older.

The 2 dose Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is approved for 16 years and older. This vaccine currently requires ultra-cold storage, however data suggests the vaccine can be stored in a conventional medical freezer. We will order this vaccine when storage recommendations are updated as we do not have the facilities for ultra-cold storage.

Thank you for your support and understanding, and thank you for being pro-science and pro-vaccine!
